This piece was written for the M3 Spree project at UNC School of the Arts in early 2016, which is a collaboration wherein third-year modern dance students work alongside composers to create new pieces.

I had the great fortune of working with Kristen Hedberg, with whom I had previously worked. Her vision of a vast cosmic expanse led me to the title of this piece, which refers to the motion of galaxies and nebulas around each other. Her dance, entitled "Kismet's Bend," embodied the same mood I was searching for in the music.
